PART III (Tokyo't Baboy Sunday)
January 21, 2007

Yup it's practice session number 3 of 5 and I can fairly say that we're getting better. The main theme for the session was running the second and third song for our VANI-TEA set.

As usual everybody was late haaaaaay... we all met up at the usual 711 store at downtown Dasmariñas Cavite.

I was the first to arrive, I'm kinid'a trying to be early this time hahaha. Then [info]jrocker

Vinz with big... headphones! hahaha

Vinz even bragged about washing his cockroach infested nap sack hahaha (peace!)

Then May arrived with in a very genki attire. And lastly the one we can't be without, Mon hehehe. Honestly, way back we tried to practice without a drummer and it didn't turn out good (cause i attempted to play drums in his stead hahaha)

when we arrived at the music studio, we saw an all female rock group (with a korean gurl i think) playing. kawaii hehehe. After they were done, we went inside and started setting up. obviously i was the only one with the most equipment so i was the last to setup.

"your guitar's too loud!" oooowwwkhhaaayyy....

Shiina Ringo is that you?!?!?

Mon in his uniform hehehe

you know that feeling when you want to play a song that you've heard and then you do some riffs that really sound like the recorded version? hihihi the feeling was so intense that I yelled "yiihii!!!! AAWWWW!!" then every body lost concentraton and stopped. "ummm oppps hehehe"

is it crampy in here?

and so on the songs go by and we kind'a get "feeling" to them. suddenly there was a procession on the street. it was the feast of the Sto. Niño (Jesus Christ the child) that day. We first stopped but we couldn't waste any time. so we did a "Sto. Niño" version of one of our songs. hehehe. kind'a had a jazzy feel to it.

man! the song was so great we even thought of considering doing that in VANI-TEA! hmmm the jazzy part needs more vintage overdrive in my guitar, I'll have to do that next time. OVERDRIVE OVERDRIVE OVERDRIVE! It's so addicting!

Kin'da like when you use a boss blues driver or something for cleas bles / jazz type of music. gotta test that next week wahahaha.

practice was over so we went back downtown and ate at GREENWICH. We ordered pizza, some nachos and drinks. oh yeah it's MAY's birthday last JAn 18. I have to make a poster waaah!! (sorry for the delay)

NACHOS!!!!

BANG!!!

Garden Fresh. Daming mushrooms kakatuwa hehehe
After hanging out, we went home on our separate ways. another fine day for Tokyo't Baboy.
