Pinoy J-Culture on last Sunday's Inquirer Magazine

Philippine daily Inquirer's Sunday magazine was dedicated to the Japanese-influenced culture here in the Philippines. I was so surprised that a whole magazine was really dedicated to our little community. Reading the magazine I was happy to see familiar names and faces from the local J-Music, Cosplay, Anime and JFashion communities.

What surprised me the most was when one of the authors cited our band as an example of a japanese-influenced band "So Hapon yet so Pinoy".
I scanned the pages of the magazine so you guys can see what it looked like. I'm posting the first two articles and then more in a later post

I just have some comments about some stuff. like in the first article where the author said "Twice a year, about 1,000 fans of Japanese rock or J-Rock gather together as a community in concerts that celebrate the music they love"
ummmm I have been to many of these "concerts" and I don't think I've seen 1000 fans. Most of the bars where events are held only occupy about 150-250 customers. If the author could just be more specific maybe the reader could understand better. I only see hundreds and hundreds of guests during conventions like the TOYCON or UPAME, HERO con and the like.
Heck if I get to play in front of 1000 fans I might play with shaking knees! waaah! maybe someday
more to come!
